How do you scan pictures to a computer with the hp deskjet all-in-one ?

Can you answer Abigail Grace’s question about Inkjets?:

I am trying to scan pictures to my computer using HP Deskjet F2210 All-in-One… but when I press scan all that happens is the power button blinks. Do I need to download software or what?? Plz help.. thx!

    Inkjets Feedback: mine is a HP PSC 1610 and all you do is lift the lid and click start scan. maybe your’s has a problem?
