Can you answer Betty B’s question about Inkjets?:

I am working on a project and it would be great if I could print a sheet in a inkjet then follow through by sending that sheet through a laser printer to finish. will the inkjet ink damage the laser printer or will it be fine?

Inkjets Feedback: Its not a good idea at all, inkjet paper absorbers ink hence the slight stickyness of the paper while laser / photocopy paper is heat resistance as the toner is attracted to the paper using hear (layman’s terms). Hence the inkjet paper can melt and jam the printer and cause a lot of damage.

Inkjets Feedback: It will be OK if you give the ink time to dry. It may feel dry to the touch, but I would give it about 10 minutes before running it through the laser.

Can’t understand why you would not want to do the entire print job with only the laser.

    Inkjets Feedback: Hi

I know what you are trying to do with the laser LOL… You want the text to be crisp and not dotted like the deskjet. Once you printed the pics on the deskjet, YOU CAN put deskjet in the laser to finish them. I do it all the time.
And the output will be just like on laser paper and NO DAMAGE whatsoever.

And no need to wait till its dry, the heat produced by the laser alone will dry it well.
