Can you answer hansolo951’s question about Inkjets?:

I just bought some inkjet business cards. I have an inkjet at home, but my publications classroom only has laser printers. Am i going to kill the printer if i try to make it work?

Inkjets Feedback: Not necessarily. Use the bypass tray and it should work. Since it is actually cardstock it is heavier and will not go through the normal path as easily.

Inkjets Feedback: It will work fine, laser printers are not picky in what paper is being feed to it.

Inkjets Feedback: Possibly, most laser printers do not handle card stock very well. You run the risk of it getting jammed in the fuser.

Many higher end inkjet papers also have a resin coating that does not stand up well to the heat of a laser printer fuser as well. In that case you run the risk of melting some of that coating into the fuser, which will ruin the fuser. A fuser unit is not cheap to replace so i would recommend using your inkjet at home.

Inkjets Feedback: Sure can, no damage will be done, I always use 20 pound laser paper on my ink printer and done it for 15 years or so.
