How can I run a A/C powered photo printer where there is no A/C power available?

Can you answer d_og12345’s question about Inkjets?:

I want to be say out in the wilderness someplace with no a/c power available and run a typical digital camera printer. I’m thinking I want to take a digital photo, do what ever I want to it on a laptop and be able to print it. All without connecting to a wall outlet or my car battery. How about a portable laptop printer? Do any printers work on USB power? Any ideas?

Inkjets Feedback: USB power would fry the board trying to deliver printer power. You can not do the impossible. You either need to run a generator, or run a 12v to ac inverter. Unless you can find a battery powered printer, and I have not seen one in 30 years in the business.

Inkjets Feedback: get a portable power supply like what you use for jump starting a car,,,,al so pick up a little inverter. the power pack will have a lead acid battery in it so you may want to get a book cart or something similar if you intend to go a distance from you vehicle

Inkjets Feedback: Get a power inverter, converts 12V DC back into 120V AC, available in any auto parts store and Radio Shack-type stores.

or you can get a “portable” printer that actually does have a built-in battery for standalone use… For a little while.
